"Lafayette birds!"
An introduction to bird watching, will be held on May 6, June 3 and July 1
Sundays at 1 p.m.
at Greenlee Wildlife Preserve - 1600 Caria Dr. Lafayette, CO 80026.
Knowledgeable bird watchers will be on hand with binoculars, spotting scopes and learning tools to bring the world of birds alive for beginning birders. Greenlee Wildlife Preserve is a nationally acclaimed location for migratory birds and nesting water fowl. Parking is available in the east parking lot of Waneka Lake located at the intersection of Caria Dr. & W. Emma St. in Lafayette. To reach the preserve, follow the walking path around the north side of the lake about 1/3 of a mile. Children and youth must be accompanied by a parent or adult supervisor.
